 She then enrolled in the natuorpathic doctorate program at the Canadian College of Natuorpathic Medicine (CCNM). CCNM is the first of only two accredited Naturopathic colleges in Canada. Lei Gu is a licensed naturopathic doctor by the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy. She is a member of both the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors as well as the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Two years upon graduating from CCNM, Lei furthered her education in traditional Chinese herbal medicine at The Advanced Academic College of The Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. She was trained by Doctors Gengmin Tang MD and Wenzhong Xu MD. These two teachers not only have had over 25 years of practice experience but also over 20 years of teaching experience at the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Lei teaches part-time at the University of Toronto, and she occasionally lectures at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
